Some side effects of erectile dysfunction medications include hypotension or low blood pressure. these medications should not be prescribed to someone who is taking nitrates such as nitroglycerin. Other side effects may include flushing, headache, heartburn, muscle pain, or back pain which typically goes away by itself within two days.
